There is no electricity in the capital of Nur-Sultan, Shymkent, Taraz, Turkestan region, as well as in the capital of Kyrgyzstan – Bishkek, the city of Osh and the city of Tashkent in Uzbekistan. There are also reports of a lack of electricity in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and the border zone of China. According to preliminary data, an uncontrolled release of radiation-explosive material occurred at the site of the Kok-Borsok energy ring, causing a fire and an explosion.
