Ghulam Abbas has been making solar water heaters from basic equipment which can be used to cook food and heat water in a short time for free. He has received orders from the province, and has asked for more attention and support from the Islamic Emirate and businesses to help promote the use of solar energy in the country. Solar cooking has grown in popularity in Afghanistan, due to its convenience and cost-effectiveness.
