Pictures of the Year 2022, Part 037/163

People are seen in front of the world's largest easter egg in Lemesany, Slovakia on April 11, 2022. Local architect and craftsman Jozef Kuruc is the creator of the five-meter tall Easter egg, that has been put on display in the village of Lemesany, Slovakia for the 7th time in a row. The middle-aged architect came up with the idea when he created a tiny, some 50-centimeter tall egg in 2015. The building process of the new, 5.08 meter tall, 3.08 meter wide and nearly 800 kg giant Easter egg lasted for over a year. The body and the shell of the piece are carved out of layers of polyester foam, the outer layer is made out of chicken wire and plaster. The giant egg is fixed onto a metal frame, that also played a key role in its transportation from the workshop to the village's main square. (Photo by Robert Nemeti/Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
