Matt and Dominique Sellors came straight from their wedding to take park in race in Essex, United Kingdom on April 24, 2022. The Maldon Mud race returns to Promenade Park in the Essex town after a two year absence due to Covid-19. The race is run on a 450 metre course across the River Blackmore and can only take place at low tide. This event originated in 1973, when a local man was challenged to don a tuxedo to serve a meal on the bank of the river.
