Palestinian families in the town of Beit Lahiya, north of Gaza, suffer from a lack of water. During hot weather, access to water is essential for families living in the area. They have to travel a long distance to get water from a well. However, they are still able to obtain water for bathing children due to the high temperatures, as well as for drinking and cooking. This area is considered very poor, lacking basic human necessities such as sanitation and safe living conditions, as most of their homes are built of metal sheets.
