A fire boat shoots water to combat the fire at the port of Oakland. On August 9th at 5:30 p.m., a fire breaks out at the port of Oakland, prompting an immediate response from the Oakland and Alameda Fire department. Firefighters and a fire boat are dispatched to the scene to combat the blaze. The fire generates a substantial amount of smoke, filling the air and casting a dense haze over the sky in the vicinity of the port.
