A woman, who did not want to reveal her identity, is funding the restoration of the largest Jewish cemetery in the city of Karachi. A team of locals are clearing the cemetery of wild bushes and shrubs, repairing broken graves, the boundary wall, and the gate. The restoration process is expected to be completed within six weeks. A caretaker will then be hired to maintain the cemetery. The cemetery holds historical significance as the burial place for the Jewish community in Karachi and has not seen a burial in over 38 years.
