A harvest worker holds Burley type of tobacco leaves in his stained hands on a private land at the village of Biri, eastern Hungary, 26 July 2022. The family-owned business sells its product to Universal Leaf Tobacco Magyarorszag Ltd., an affiliate of the US based Universal Corporation. Burley accounts for fifteen percent of the total domestic tobacco production, the remaining eighty-five percent being Virginia type plants.
