Pictures of the Year 2022, Part 132/163

A doll, a bowl of pins and a framed photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin are displayed for customers’ use at the Simona pizzeria in central Kyiv on November 17, 2022. Plenty of customers clearly felt the cathartic need to vent their anger against the Russia leader: the doll was pin-stuck from head nearly to toe. And perhaps more so now than at any time since Russia invaded Ukraine nine months ago. (Photo by John Leicester/AP Photo)
