A Look at Life in Afghanistan

Afghan orphan children have meals at an orphanage in Kandahar, Afghanistan, 01 February 2024. Afghan orphaned and unaccompanied children are receiving care and education at an orphanage operated by the Department of Labor and Social Affairs in Kandahar. The officials have gathered children who used to collect alms in the city and are now nurturing around 350 orphans, as well as children of disabled and drug-addicted parents. The head of the orphanage, Maulviullah Nazar Abul Hasan, highlighted that the children receive religious and modern education and other facilities.
