A picture taken on February 17, 2024 shows a Bengal Tiger cub born in captivity at the “Reserva La Pequena Africa” in Jimena de la Frontera, near Cadiz. The baby bengal tiger was born on December 29, 2023. Tigers are classified as endangered on the Red List of threatened species prepared by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). Of the nine subspecies that existed, only six remain today: the Bengal tiger, the Amur tiger, the South China tiger, the Sumatran tiger, the Indochina tiger and the Malayan tiger.
