Supporters of Jacksonville, Florida's LGBTQ community organized a rainbow lighting of the city's Main Street Bridge on Friday, May 31, 2024. According to the Florida Times-Union, the lighting was in response to a state Department of Transportation decision to keep the nearby Acosta Bridge lit red, white and blue all summer.
