People gather to celebrate Summer Solstice Day (Kupala Festival) which is the longest day and shortest night of the year in the suburbs of the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, Russia on June 23, 2024. The Slavic Holiday Kupala - the day of the summer solstice is celebrated from June 21 to 24. This is one of the main four holidays of the ancient Slavs, dedicated to the positions of the Sun (Kolyada, Maslenitsa, Kupala, Radogoshch).
