The brig “Russia” in the waters of the Neva River seen during the dress rehearsal of the Scarlet Sails alumni holiday, which will be held from June 28 to 29, 2024 in St. Petersburg. The annual music and theater youth festival “Scarlet Sails” is held on the Neva. The main event of the festival is the ceremony of raising the red sails on the brig “Russia”, which sails along the Neva River in the center of St. Petersburg. As part of the celebration, a large concert is held in Dvorvotsa Square, and guests will also enjoy a large fireworks display. The Scarlet Sails holiday is considered one of the brightest summer events in St. Petersburg and a symbol of graduation for Russian schoolchildren.
