A group of regional bedouin actors in historical military costumes re-enact the events of the “Great Arab Revolt” that broke out in 1916, when this desert witnessed the Bedouin population joining the Arab forces led by King Faisal to fight the Ottoman army between 1916 and 1918, performing on May 06, 2023 in Wadi Rum, Jordan. The Hejaz Railway was built by Ottoman ruler Sultan Abdulhameed in 1909 and destroyed during the Arab Revolution attack against the Ottoman Empire.
