Revellers including Hippies and Druids return to Stonehenge to celebrate the summer Solstice on June 21, 2023. Thousands descended on the ancient stones to witness the sunrise on the longest day of the year. The sun rose at 4:49am and the official Solstice officially begins at 3;57pm GMT. English Heritage allow controlled access to the ancient stone circle to allow the celebration that marks the official start of summer. (Photo by Martin Dalton/Rex Features/Shutterstock)
