Students at the Nguerendomo Primary School take part in a series of fun activities led by the school director Brice Nguilibet in Birao on August 12, 2024. Owing to the widespread nature of gender-based violence, conflict and other extreme factors, many of the children in Korsi are traumatized. The fighting in Sudan, which has killed tens of thousands and displaced a fifth of the population, has continued unabated despite the ongoing mediation efforts.
