A seal found itself in a bit of bother as a humpback whale, a female named Zillion by local whale watchers, scooped it up while feeding off the coast of Anacortes, Washington state on September 12, 2024. Fortunately for the seal, humpbacks only feed on krill and small fish, straining huge volumes of water through their baleen plates, which act like a sieve.
