153 plastic covered mannequins, bearing labels with fictive names, ages and jobs, lay on the ground during a protest on government health policies regarding cancer affected patients held in front of the government headquarters in Bucharest, Romania, 17 October 2023. The participants asked the government to unlock the National Plan to Fight Cancer and to access European Union funding for the fight against cancer, as 153 people die of cancer every day, according to the organizers.
