Ayhan Savut, the grandson of Mustafa Efendi, one of the famous Ottoman finial masters, continues his work in his finial workshop making finials in Bursa, Turkiye on February 19, 2025. Savut, a descendant of the renowned coppersmith Mustafa Efendi, one of the most famous finial masters of the Ottoman period, produces finials that adorn the domes and minarets of mosques not only in Turkiye but also in many other countries. Savut, who is the third generation of his family to carry on the business in Bursa, has been making finials for 57 years.
