The Wessex Morris Men welcome in May Day dancing at sunrise above the Cerne Abbas Giant, on May 01, 2025 in Cerne Abbas, United Kingdom. The Wessex Morris dancers greet the sunrise on 1st May on the Trendle, a square earth-banked enclosure above the Cerne Abbas Giant's head, where a maypole once stood. This is followed by a procession to the square where further dancing takes place and a short celebration of the season at the Silver Well in the Celtic Christian tradition.
