Afro-descendants known as Garifunas confront the military during a demonstration to demand compliance with three international rulings in favor of three Garifuna communities in the Caribbean of Honduras and to express their discontent against the Government of Xiomara Castro, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, 12 April 2024. People participated in the march that went from the Parliament to the Presidential House, where the protesters clashed with the military who prevented them from entering the Executive headquarters.
