In this aerial view tourists swim in Semuc Champey National Park in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala on March 13, 2025. The Natural monument of Semuc Champey, which in the local Qeqchi Maya dialect means “where the river disappears into the earth”, consists of a natural 300 meters long limestone bridge, under which the Cahabon River passes. Atop the bridge there are a series of stepped pools, ranging from turquoise to emerald-green, good for swimming. (Photo by Johan Ordonez/AFP Photo)
