Medical students from the University of Halle operate on a teddy bear together with children from the “Weingärten” daycare center in a real operating theatre in the former emergency room at the University Hospital Halle/Saale in Saxony-Anhalt, Halle on May 14, 2024. This is the 20th time that cuddly toys have been operated on at the University Hospital. The Teddy Bear Hospital in Halle stands out because it uses an entire former hospital wing with several real operating theaters on the Steintor Medical Campus. The aim of the project is to playfully take away children's fear of visiting a doctor. Once again, hundreds of children are expected. The Teddy Clinic runs until Friday.
