Comlurb climbers clean the slopes surrounding the Christ the Redeemer Sanctuary in Corcovado on September 10, 2025. The professionals, who receive specialized training and use rappelling techniques, work mainly on slopes in communities and areas that are difficult to access. The action is a partnership with the Christ the Redeemer Sanctuary, with which Comlurb has a long-standing relationship. The climber street cleaners are certified as N1 Rope Access Professionals by ANEAC (National Association of Rope Access and Rescue Companies) for working at height/rope access in safety.
