An extremely rare leucistic yellow baboon hitches a ride on its mother’s back back in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia in the last decade of October 2025. Leucistic baboons are almost unheard of, with only a handful of sightings confirmed in the wild. Their pale coats make them stand out to predators and vulnerable to social rejection.
