“Skogafoss Waterfall”. The Skogafoss is named after the river crashing down the cliffs. Skogar is Icelandic for “wood” and it is therefore assumed there were once trees in that area. I took this shot as my tourmates admired the majestic beauty of the waterfall while all of us tried to brave the intense cold.
