The Week in Pictures: February 1 – February 7, 2014. Part 4/4

A file photo taken on February 27, 2004 shows skulls of victims of the Ntarama massacre during the 1994 genocide, lined in the Genocide Memorial Site church of Ntarama, in Nyamata. Among the 59.000 Tutsis who lived in the province, 50.000 were killed during the genocide, and among them 10.000 were slain in the church. The landmark trial of a former Rwandan army captain charged with complicity in the 1994 genocide kicked off in Paris on February 4, 2014, the first of its kind in France. Pascal Simbikangwa, who denies the accusations against him, appeared in court in a wheelchair after a 1986 accident that left him disabled. He faces life in prison.
