Afghan Female Boxers Fighting their Way to the 2016 Olympics

In this Wednesday, March, 5, 2014 photo, an Afghan female boxer prepares for practice at the Kabul Stadium boxing club. The Afghanistan National Olympic Committee boxing club has fewer than a dozen women and little money for them. Previously nongovernmental organizations supported them. At that time there were 25 young women who received a salary the equivalent of $100 per month and transportation to and from the Kabul Stadium where they train. (Photo by Massoud Hossaini/AP Photo)
