Nineteen-year-old porn star Belle Knox rocketed to fame after publically claiming that she “loves sex” and finds pornography a nurturing, supportive and empowering working environment. Knox, whose real name is Miriam Weeks, claims she enjoys working in the sex film industry and is using it to pay her $47,000-a-year tuition fees at Duke University in North Carolina. Since her revelation Knox has achieved more hits on Google than Pope Francis and Justin Bieber combined. While sales of her X Rated movies have soared so has the online abuse. “I think eighty percent of the world's traffic on the Internet is pornography”, The law student told Piers Morgan. “And I think that probably every single person at some point in their life has watched pornography, so, I think it's extremely hypocritical that the same society that consumes me is also condemning me”.
