The International Medieval Combat

Teams train for months to compete in hand-to-hand medieval combat. The fighting, and the injuries, are real. A USA Knight team member is seen here resting after combat during the International Medieval Combat at the castle of Belmonte, May 4, 2014, in Belmonte, Spain. “I've seen guys take helmets off and there's no teeth left, their nose is broke, their heads gashed open, they're bleeding all over”, said a member of the USA Knights team.
