America may be a nation obsessed with automobiles, but today the bicycle is giving the car a run for its money. And while New York is just one of many cities that is implementing new bikefriendly policies, the local cyclist population stands out as one of the most diverse, inventive, and stylish in the world.

Coonoor is a municipality in the Nilgiris district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is known for its production of Nilgiri tea. Coonoor is located at an altitude of 1,850 m above sea level and is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiri hills after Ooty. Artist Gaelle Villedary has installed a grass “carpet” across the village of Jaujac in France to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Arts and Nature Trail program. The green trail is made of 168 rolls of grass and runs for 1,377 feet (420 metres) to connect the village seamlessly to its surrounding natural landscape.
