The Messner Mountain Museum (MMM) Corones, designed by the renowned Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid, is the final instalment in a series of six mountain-top museums curated by Reinhold Messner, the Italian mountaineer known for making the first ascent of Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen.

These illustrations are the work of an artist who has put a sinister spin on iconic animations in order to highlight the disturbing realities of domestic abuse. No Violence Against Women is a project by Italian artist and activist AleXsandro Palombo, 40, who is based in Milan. After obtaining a degree in law, Carfagna worked for several years on Italian television shows and as a model.
