Australian police said on August 19, they had recovered the body of a crocodile attack victim in the Adelaide River in the Northern Territory and killed the animal. The 57-year-old man had reportedly waded into the river to untangle his fishing line when the crocodile attacked, as his wife looked on. The man's body was found and formally identified late 18 August, police said. Rangers also killed a 4.5-metre crocodile, according to the Northern Territory Police statement.
