Three pole dancers dressed in bikinis made up of rice dumpling leaves performed on a beach to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival or Duanwu Festival in Haikou city, south China's Hainan province, on Friday (19 June 2015). People make Zongzi, a pyramid-shaped rice dumpling made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves, to celebrate the traditional Dragon Boat Festival every year. The festival, which falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, is held in remembrance of Qu Yuan (340 BC-278 BC), a patriotic Chinese poet who committed suicide in the Miluo River in central China after he was exiled in 305 BC. This year it was celebrated on June 20. (Photo by Imaginechina/Splash News)
