Migrants from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, on their way to European Union countries, sleep in a crowded the hallway of the train that runs on the north from the southern Serbian city of Presevo to Subotica, early 22 July 2015. The migrants are finding their way to wealthy countries such as Germany. Many of them enter the Balkans via EU member Greece and, after hiking across Macedonia and Serbia, intend to cross back into the European Union through Hungary. According to the UN's refugee relief organization, 80 per cent of migrants arriving in Hungary generally want to seek asylum in Western Europe rather than stay in Hungary.
