A local resident saws uprooted trees damaged by Typhoon Nepartak on July 9, 2016 in Taitung, Taiwan. Severe rain and winds brought by Super Typhoon Nepartak killed at least 3 people and injured 172 in Taiwan, according to reports, with bullet train services suspended and more than 340 international and 300 domestic flights cancelled. At the eastern coast of China, 37,000 people have been evacuated and flights and trains cancelled as the typhoon continues to bring torrential rain to Fujian and Zhejiang on Saturday.
