Unconventional bike ride – Fred Hagstrora rides a bicycle into the crystal clear waters off the dock on Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas on August 14, 1981. The island fort is now a historical monument staffed by employees of the National Park Service and used by scientists such as Mr. Hagstrom, who spent a grueling day trying to tag sea turtles for research purposes.
