This March 14, 1957 file photo shows the young anti-Batista guerrilla leader Fidel Castro, center, with his younger brother Raul Castro, left, and Camilo Cienfuegos, right, operating in the mountains of eastern Cuba. Raul Castro, the current leader of the Communist-run island will turn 80 on Friday June 3. The milestone is sure to remind supporters and detractors alike that the era of the Castro's is nearing its end, biologically if not politically. Raul is already a month older than Fidel was when a near-fatal illness forced him to step down in 2006. (Photo by Andrew St. George/AP Photo)
