Clowns perform in the children's social shelter during the first clown festival in Belarus in Bobruisk, some 150 km from Minsk, Belarus, 01 April 2018 (issued 05 April). About 60 participants from Belarus and Russia took part in the event. The first clown festival in Belarus took place in Bobruisk on the April Fool's Day on 01 April 2018. About 60 clowns from Belarus and Russia gathered to entertain spectators. For 1 day Bobruisk became a capital of Jokes and Humour. Theaters of clownery, mime-theaters, individual performers of humorous genre, stilts and hospital clowns performed on a stage of the Palace of Arts. Most of the participants have other jobs and practice clownery as a hobby. Clown Betty says she works as a clown because she loves childrens laughter and emotions. Before the show, clowns visited Bobruisk children's hospital and children's social shelter to make fun and bring laughter to it's little inhabitants. “Clown-Show 2018” was held in a city with over 200 000 polulation and is planned to become annual and to spread it's geography of performes.
