Polish police remove people representing the Citizens of the Republic of Poland movement, who blocking the entrance to the meeting room of the National Council of the Judiciary building in Warsaw, Poland, 27 August 2018. They delayed the beginning of the Council meeting during which the National Court Register selects candidates for the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court. Reports state that the Citizens of the Republic of Poland movement is an informal civic movement engaged in pro-democracy actions and anti-fascist movement, opposed to the actions of the government led by the Law and Justice (PiS) party.
