Some Photos: Birds

Tens of thousands of identical birds cover every inch of a British farm as they come to steal cattle feed. The starlings, which travel to the UK every winter, pick up the the cows' food in what looks like a moving floor of blues, blacks and beaks. The tiny birds in their vast numbers stand in rows and columns almost like a crowd waiting to hear a great speech. But the cows seem completely unfazed by the presence of the birds and carry on as normal. (Photo by Frederic Desmette/Solent News and Photo Agency)
