Taiwanese take part in Taiwan Pride March for the World at Liberty Square at the CKS Memorial Hall in Taipei on June 28, 2020. Taiwan is one of the few countries in the world able to host a Pride during the pandemic because of it's low transmission rates. A locally transmitted case of COVID-19 hasn't been detected in the island nation in over 70 days. The event also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, which happened in New York's Greenwich Village on June 28, 1969. (Photo by An Rong Xu/The New York Times)
