The Covid-19 disease caused by the novel SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus has had a huge impact on the BDMS subculture in the city with the first months of lockdown starting in March 2020 stopping all events at the dungeon and bringing it to a close. Recently however, relaxation in lockdown restrictions have seen a increase in events and play sessions at the dungeon as people feel the need to deal with the stress and anxiety of the lockdown by visiting the dungeon and playing out their fantasies.
