The Dixie Fire burns in the town of Greenville and Lake Alamanor in Plumas County Wednesday August 4th 2021, and early Thursday August 5th, 2021. By nightfalll the majority of central Greenville appeared to be destroyed, with dozens of homes and businesses burned after the fire crossed highway 89.
