Siena International Photography Awards Winners 2021

The beauty of nature – winner – Green Light Forest. A mountain path through a forest is illuminated by a multitude of “sparkling” fireflies, giving the landscape an almost fairytale atmosphere. The insects’ bioluminescence is part of the mating ritual, at the end of which the eggs are laid.
