Health workers of the Red Cross transport passengers infected with coronavirus returning from South Africa, for a quarantine in a hotel, in Schiphol, the Netherlands, 27 November 2021. Of the 600 people on the two KLM planes that returned from South Africa on Friday 26 November to Schiphol Airport, 61 people have been tested positive for the coronavirus. A new, heavily mutated variant of coronavirus called Omikron or B.1.1.529 had been identified by scientists in South Africa.
