Now he has more than 1,5 million crickets on the farm. From four kilograms of crickets, one kilogram of protein meal is obtained. He sells it for 7,000 Som (70 EUR) for one kilogram. The UN warns that by 2050, the world's inhabitants will face an acute shortage of protein foods. The cattle population cannot be increased indefinitely.
