An 82 Royal Gun Salute takes place in Hyde Park on June 02, 2022 in London, England.Traditionally a 21-gun -salute has been used to mark HM Queen Elizabeth II's birthday, with 20 extra guns added when the salute is held in a Royal Park. This year marks the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, the 70th anniversary of her accession to the throne, and she will receive an 82-gun-salute in Hyde Park. Queen Elizabeth II has become the first British monarch to reach the Platinum Jubilee milestone, an occasion which will be marked by celebrations across the United Kingdom and Commonwealth.
