At least seven people were killed and 17 injured during the attack according to the Ukrainian State Emergency Service. A total of at least 11 people were killed and 37 injured in the entire Kharkiv region during the overnight attack, the head of Kharkiv oblast military administration said. Kharkiv and surrounding areas have been the target of heavy shelling since February 2022, when Russian troops entered Ukraine starting a conflict that has provoked destruction and a humanitarian crisis.
